Marty & Linda will be in Quartzsite and meeting up with any interested club members on January 19th, between Noon & 12:30, at T-Rocks 1530 W. Main st  located at the second off ramp to Quartzsite from the East, turning right and then left at the stop sign, there will be a Carl's Jr, and T-Rocks is directly across from Carl's Jr, great place to stop and look for rocks.

We will be collecting red and yellow jaspers as well as other minerals.  Suggested motel is the Ludlow near Barstow. There are lots of other motels to chose from in Barstow.  Details will be added as the the trip date approaches and the dates are subject to change.

This tour is only available on week days, so the date will change based on who wants to go and what day works best.  Flagstone is available for sale in their dump area.

The drive to Alpine alone, is worth the trip. The scenery is simply divine.  There are a number of motels and campgrounds in the area, including a fee campground at Luna Lake and a free forest service campground just across the state line in New Mexico.  Camping will be entirely weather dependent as it could be quite chilly still in April. We’ll be looking to collect Luna Blue agate on this trip.

Dates have mot yet been set for this trip - so the dates you see here are simply “place holders”.  We will be collecting Midnight Lace Obsidian on this trip.
